Studio Policy

If you have any questions about the studio policies below, please contact me as I’m always happy to answer or clarify any questions. I believe it’s important to be informed and educated in both the tattoo industry and the tattooing procedure itself for the best possible outcomes.

Do you allow walk-ins?

NO WALK INS ALLOWED! – please contact the studio to set up an appointment.

*Note: special events and open houses may allow for walk ins. ( sign up for newsletters or Follow on social media for updates on events, dates and times.)

AGE REQUIREMENT?

Per Wisconsin Legislature: SPS 221.12, 3. No person under 18 years of age may  be tattooed except by a physician in the course of the physician’s professional practice, as permitted under s. 948.70 (3), Stats.

IDENTIFICATION    

Heidi Faye Tattoos (and the State of Wisconsin) requires you to have a valid PHOTO ID at the start of your appointment. Should you arrive at your appointment without acceptable identification, you will be forced to reschedule.

Acceptable IDs include unexpired:

  • DMV-issued driver’s license, permit, or identification card.
  • Birth certificate
  • Military ID
  • Current Passport

Pricing of tattoos

Pricing models for custom body art. 

During your consultation appointment, Heidi-Faye will review the pricing models that work best for you and your tattoo project and provide an estimation for the total cost for the request.

ALL TATTOO APPOINTMENTS REQUIRE A NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT!  

Full/Half-day rates for custom body art:

Most custom body art projects are multiple-session, larger scale tattoos, where a full day of tattooing is the most effective way to complete these projects.

*A full day session ranges from 5-7 hours of tattooing (a lunch break is included; you can bring one from home or the studio will provide one at no charge.)

*A half-day session is usually 3-4 hours (with no lunch break.)

*Note: Full/half-day rates do not break down to an hourly rate. This model is designed for larger scale tattoos that take multiple sessions but also provide flexibility as you, the client, best know your tolerance for sitting for longer sessions.

(Deposits for half/full day rate ranges from $250 to $300)

Hourly rate for custom body art:

Heidi-Faye offers an hourly rate for medium to large scale custom body art projects. This model is designed for clients that might not know the limit of their tolerance for sitting for sessions.

(Deposits for hourly rate is $150)

Restorative Areola Tattoo rate:

Unilateral: $400

Bilateral: $650 

Color Correction, touch-up from another artist, or modification: $400

Custom Tattoos for breast surgeries are based on an hourly rate starting at $160/hr.

DEPOSITS POLICY

DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE  

When booking a tattoo appointment, a deposit is required at the time of booking. The amount of the deposit ranges from $150-$300 depending on the scope/size of the project. Your deposit will be credited to the final cost of your tattoo.

LOSS OF DEPOSIT 

Your deposit can be forfeited for any of the following reasons:

  • You are a no call, no show
  • You come intoxicated or otherwise under the influence
  • Your skin cannot be tattooed due to your own doings (sunburn, road rash, brushes, etc.)
  • You are 30 minutes or more late to your tattoo appointment
  • You cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice
  • If you need to reschedule your appointment more than 2 times.
